Elise & Willow
Elise made a promise to herself that her first dog would be rescued or adopted. While doing her research, she found that the greyhound breed was perfect for her lifestyle.

Georgia, Sofia & Hughie
Georgia & Sofia say they are so grateful that Hughie’s previous owners put in the effort to find him a new home that was right for him and wishes more people would opt to adopt if they can.

Remy, Roux and the Gibbon Family
The Gibbon family decided it was time to reintroduce cats into their lives as their children grew older. With a history of adopting rescue pets, they eagerly sought a pair of feline companions to join their family.

Mocha, Lunar, Evie and Sophie
“If you’re looking to adopt a pet, I would just do it if you have the time and can commit. You won’t regret it and you’re giving the animals a second chance at life.”

Mabli & Lara
If you’re thinking about adopting, Lara says, “Do it! Make sure you are ready and have enough time to give as it’s a big commitment, but there are so many pets out there that need a loving home and are so worth the extra bit of effort.”

Momo and Alex
Momo, an FIV+ senior cat, was available for adoption through Petstock in collaboration with Lonely Miaow. Upon discovering her through a TikTok video by Petstock Takapuna staff detailing her story and lack of interest, Alex immediately fell in love.
